Forklift operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating material handling equipment to move, stack, and stage products throughout our facility. The ideal candidate prioritizes safety, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in accurate order handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, or reach forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve heavy materials across the facility.
• Loading & Unloading: Load and unload inbound/outbound freight trucks, verifying cargo against shipping orders and packing lists.
• Safety Inspections: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on equipment (brakes, hydraulics, fluid levels) and report any maintenance issues immediately.
• Inventory Staging: Transport raw materials to production lines and place finished goods into designated warehouse rack locations.
• Workplace Safety: Adhere strictly to OSHA standards, speed limits, load limits, and pedestrian right-of-way rules to maintain a safe environment.
• Active Forklift Certification (preferred or ability to pass on-site certification).
• 1+ years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a active warehouse environment.

salary: $38,000 - $45,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
