Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with strong experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient care and assist during surgical procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during operations and ensure a sterile field is maintained.
• Prepare and organize the surgical instruments and supplies needed for procedures.
• Monitor and manage the environment in the operating room.
• Handle surgical specimens and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team and adhere to safety protocols.

Schedule

This position requires a shift from 7 AM to 5:30 PM. There may also be a possibility of on-call duty.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a current NBSTSA CST certification at the time of submission.
• Strong background in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgical procedures is required.
• Previous experience in a surgical setting is essential.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
