Behavior Technician - PBIS - 35 hours/week - Westlake Elementary- Position Starts August

Behavioral Support Specialist

Under the direction of the general supervision of the school principal and PBIS Coach, work as a team with the teacher, school counselor, and administration to provide additional support to students with high behavior needs. This position is intended to provide behavioral support to general education students and support the general education teacher in order to implement consistent positive behavior management strategies.

Requirements / Qualifications

Required Qualifications: - Two years' experience working with students. (Education may be substituted for experience) - Two years of college credit OR - Associate's degree OR - Can demonstrate through a local assessment, knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics ** PLEASE ATTACH COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS OR COPY OF DEGREE TO APPLICATION **

Must be able to work all hours and days required.
