Travel Physical Therapist – Acute (PT – Acute) AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. Location & Schedule Asheville, North Carolina – 13 weeks, 10‑hour day shifts, 40 hours per week. Compensation Pay rate: $1,817.00 – $1,872.00 per shift (subject to confirmation). Roles & Responsibilities Evaluate patients in a 735‑bed acute care setting with a 1:1 patient ratio. Develop and implement individualized care plans. Use evidence‑based procedures and techniques to improve patient function. Supervise therapeutic care and guide support staff. Communicate results and progress to patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members. Document all therapy activities in Cerner Power Chart. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Current North Carolina PT license (Compact PT license accepted). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum 1 year of acute care experience, preferably in orthopedics, neurology, and cardiopulmonary procedures. Work history with no more than 90 days of gap in the past year.
