In this role, you’llreview tenant certifications, identify and help resolve compliance issues, andsupport clients in meeting critical regulatory requirements. Training may be conductedlocally or at an alternate location based on business needs. Candidates shouldbe prepared and available to travel as required during this time. ***What You’ll Do: Audit tenant certifications to ensure applicants andhouseholds meet project, program, and income eligibility requirementsUse your high attention to detail to complete certificationprocessing and ensure files are reviewed within a strict 24-hourperiodSupport clients in achieving regulatory and financialcompliance by ensuring submitted files are eligible and fully compliantStay up to date on changes and updates in affordable housingregulations and program requirementsWho You Are: Highschool diploma or GEDThree plus (3+) years of experience in affordable housingcompliance and/or affordable property managementSection 8, LIHTC, HOME, and RD program experienceOutstanding written and verbal communications skillsAttention to detail with a focus on qualityDemonstrated resourcefulness and good judgmentTask focused with the ability to work in a deadline-drivenenvironmentAbility to travel up to 10%Ideal to Have: Bachelor’s degree in business, housing studies, regulatoryaffairs, or another rule-based fieldCertified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Certified Professionalof Occupancy (CPO), Blended Occupancy Specialist (BOS), and/or Specialist inHousing Credit Management (SHCM)orother affordable industry certificationsKnowledge of Yardi or other property management softwareprogramsReal Estate runs on Yardi.
