Family Medicine Faculty Physician Opportunity

Our organization is recognized nationally for excellence in community family medicine education, and we are excited to invite applications for a Family Medicine Faculty Physician to join our core faculty.

This residency program is proudly affiliated with both the Medical University of South Carolina and the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine - Carolinas Campus.

Position Highlights

• Welcoming 12 Family Medicine residents each year
• First program in the state to achieve ACGME Osteopathic Recognition
• Balanced experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings, with approximately 6 weeks dedicated to inpatient care annually
• Largest Family Medicine residency program in South Carolina

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

• Be eligible to obtain a medical license in South Carolina
• Hold board certification in Family Medicine
• Possess a passion for teaching
• Have practical experience or a faculty development fellowship
• Prior academic teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Have training in POCUS or Sports Medicine (preferred)
• Obstetrical care experience is encouraged but not required
