License PPO# 6822QualificationsQualifications· Minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent. Military or police service can be accepted in lieu of educational experience. Any deviations from the minimum requirement must meet the approval of General Motors Global Security.· Maintains any applicable licensing and/or certification requirements for security officers.- Obtain a State Drivers License· Knowledge of or ability to learn security operations and procedures.· Pass a physical examination.· As permitted by local law, must pass a background investigation along with a drug and alcohol-screening test.· Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.· Courteous telephone manner.· Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports.· Good organizational skills.· Knowledge of multiple languages is beneficial but not required.· Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills.· Ability to physically respond to all emergency situations and act in a decisive manner.· Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.· Demonstrates understanding of Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel.Special Demands:· Potential Exposure to heat or cold.· Prolonged standing.
