We are actively searching for a strong marketing leader in the Upper Baltimore Region for our client - a rapidly growing residential contractor to fill a Director of Marketing role. Our client is a trusted leader in property restoration, specializing in water, fire, mold, and storm damage recovery who is now looking to add a business development manager. They work closely with homeowners, businesses, and insurance providers to restore properties to their pre-loss condition. Their team is dedicated to providing exceptional service, rapid response, and high-quality workmanship.

Position Summary

The Director of Marketing will lead the company's marketing strategy and execution with a focus on driving brand awareness, qualified leads, customer engagement, and business growth. This role will oversee digital marketing, brand strategy, local and grassroots initiatives, agency relationships, and marketing performance. The ideal candidate is a strategic, self-motivated marketer who can identify opportunities, bring forward fresh ideas, and translate strategy into measurable action. This is a high-impact opportunity to build and evolve the company's marketing function, with the potential to grow and lead a marketing team as the business expands.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy aligned with company growth objectives. · Lead SEO, SEM/PPC, website optimization, digital experience, content, social media, and lead-generation initiatives. · Develop and strengthen the company's brand, positioning, messaging, and customer experience across marketing channels. · Identify and implement innovative marketing tactics, campaigns, and opportunities to increase brand awareness and generate qualified leads. · Develop local, community, referral, partnership, and grassroots marketing initiatives. · Manage external marketing agency and vendor relationships, including strategy, performance, budgets, and deliverables. · Establish and monitor marketing KPIs and provide regular performance reporting and actionable recommendations to company leadership. · Evaluate campaign and channel performance and continuously optimize marketing investments based on results. · Manage marketing budgets and prioritize resources based on business objectives and ROI. · Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, search behavior, and marketing best practices. · Build the processes, capabilities, and infrastructure needed to support a growing marketing organization. · As the company grows, assist with recruiting, developing, and managing additional marketing team members.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred. · 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in construction, home services, or another local/service-based industry. · Strong expertise in SEO, SEM/PPC, digital marketing, website experience, and lead generation. · Experience developing and executing brand and grassroots/local marketing strategies. · Proven experience managing agencies, vendors, budgets, and marketing programs. · Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret KPIs and connect marketing performance to business results. · Excellent communication, project management, and presentation skills. · Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
