Kauffman Insurance Group is looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed Accounts Receivable Specialist who treats every unpaid balance like it’s their own money on the line. This is not a “sit back and answer emails” role. We need someone who loves digging through data, tracking down missing payments, identifying patterns, solving problems, and making sure every dollar owed is accounted for. If screen time doesn’t scare you, spreadsheets excite you, and you’re naturally organized, you may be exactly who we’re looking for. What You’ll Own Monitor and manage accounts receivable across multiple insurance products and carriers Track down missing, delayed, or incorrect payments Reconcile commission statements, carrier reports, and payment records Investigate discrepancies and identify revenue leaks Communicate with carriers, vendors, internal teams, and accounting partners Create reporting dashboards and provide management with actionable insights Maintain accurate records and documentation Follow up relentlessly until issues are resolved Identify trends that could save the company money and increase profitability Help build processes that prevent future revenue loss Who You Are Extremely detail-oriented Comfortable spending hours reviewing data, spreadsheets, and reports Naturally curious and investigative Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Organized and able to manage multiple priorities Not intimidated by large amounts of information Comfortable holding carriers and vendors accountable Able to work independently without constant supervision Fast learner with a high sense of urgency Competitive and results-driven Bonus Points If You Have Accounts receivable experience Insurance industry experience Excel or Google Sheets expertise CRM experience Accounting or bookkeeping background What Success Looks Like Identified and recovered missed revenue opportunities Improved payment tracking processes Reduced aging receivables Increased visibility into company cash flow Helped protect and recover revenue that would otherwise be lost About Kauffman Insurance Group Kauffman Insurance Group is one of South Florida’s fastest-growing insurance agencies, helping thousands of clients with ACA, Medicare, Life Insurance, and supplemental health coverage.
