Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.

Details

• Level III trauma facility with 286 staffed beds
• MRI Tech unit
• 5x8 hour evening shifts, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Possible weekend work if assigned to on-call rotation
• On-call rotation required among staff members, weekdays 6 PM-5:30 AM and weekends from Saturday 5:30 AM through Monday 5:30 AM
• No floating required between units or sister facilities
• Uses Philips MRI equipment
• Charting completed in Epic

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• License required if applicable
• AHA certifications only accepted
• Philips equipment experience required
• No radiation badge required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Block scheduling accommodations may be requested but are not guaranteed
• All requested time off must be submitted for approval and is subject to facility needs
• Facility may cancel up to 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Scrub requirement includes black pants and a teal top
• Free parking available on-site
• During hurricane season (June-November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
