Phlebotomist OpportunityPride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client's medical facility in McKinney, TX. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (Possibility of conversion or extension) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!Job Title: PhlebotomistSchedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PMLocation: McKinney, TXJob Type: ContractDuration: 13 weeksKey ResponsibilitiesPerform 100% blood draw/phlebotomy duties Monday through Friday.Arrive at the clinic by 7:45 AM to prepare for the day's patients.Collect blood specimens safely and accurately using appropriate venipuncture and collection techniques.Properly identify patients, label specimens, and ensure accurate specimen handling and processing.Follow established safety, infection-control, and laboratory procedures.Maintain accurate documentation and ensure specimen integrity.Provide professional and compassionate patient care during blood collection.Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding patient or specimen concerns.Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure efficient daily operations.Overtime may be approved as needed.Required Qualifications1–2 years of phlebotomy experienceCurrent Phlebotomy certificationCurrent BLS certificationStrong attention to detail and patient-service skillsAbility to perform blood draws accurately and efficientlyPreferred QualificationsBilingual in English and Spanish preferredExperience working in a clinic, outpatient laboratory, or healthcare environmentPride Health offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
