VP Finance

For our client, we are seeking a Vice President Distribution Finance to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a Media environment. Location: New York, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $200,000 – $240,000 annually Responsibilities Oversee financial modeling for MVPD and partnership negotiations Perform financial analysis of proposed economics and make counter proposal recommendations Summarize proposals for executive management review Review contracts during negotiations for economic alignment with financial models Analyze subscriber trends and financial history Research industry trends to inform renewal strategy Develop operational strategy for product positioning, pricing, and packaging Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required MBA or in‑progress MBA preferred 10+ years in Finance or Management Consulting required Experience in negotiations, streaming, content licensing, or ad‑supported TV preferred Strong analytical skills with data reporting and analysis experience Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment Experience with financial systems and data visualization tools like Oracle or Essbase Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage 401k plan and wellness program Life insurance and tuition reimbursement Paid time off and parental leave options Flexibility to work from home one day per week Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
