Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long Term Care Duration: Traveler's choice for 26 or 13-week assignment Shift: Variable shifts available Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Long Term Care experience required License: Must have valid state license in hand Certifications: BLS certified Must-Have: Previous travel experience required Description: Currently seeking a Registered Nurse for a Long Term Care facility. The nurse must have a valid state license prior to starting. Shift options are variable, with either 4x12 or 3x12 hour shifts available based on needs. There will be a patient ratio of 1 nurse for every 20 patients. All nurses are required to obtain food worker certification during orientation on-site. The certification fee will be covered by the facility. Nurses should have experience with the following skills: oxygen administration, peripheral line care, isolation precautions, and wound care. The nurse will be expected to float within the scope of practice based on facility needs. No on-call requirements are present for this position. Candidates are encouraged to be flexible and willing to work during major winter holidays. There are additional requirements for certain certifications and competencies as outlined by the facility. Please note that local candidates are not accepted for this role. Travelers will be provided a vehicle for use during the assignment, with certain conditions outlined by the facility. All candidates must comply with established health and safety protocols as required by the facility.
