Pharmacist - Magnolia, MS

A contract opportunity is available for a Hospital Pharmacist specializing in Behavioral Health/Psych at a facility in Magnolia, MS. This role offers a unique chance for pharmacists with retail experience to transition into the behavioral health setting, with training provided to support your success. Location:

• Magnolia, Mississippi

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• No weekend shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Check and verify medication orders accurately
• Perform medication controls and ensure compliance with protocols
• Operate as the sole pharmacist on duty, with technician support available
• Utilize medDispense system and Azalea Health electronic health records for daily tasks

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with credentials to practice in the state
• Experience in retail pharmacy settings accepted; behavioral health experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to work independently as the solo pharmacist on-site
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Willingness to learn and adapt to electronic health record systems (medDispense/Azalea Health)
