This contract opportunity places you at the heart of behavioral intervention, with assignments offered as ongoing backfills arise across multiple sites. Your adaptability and expertise will help maintain consistency in classroom support for students with moderate to high-intensity needs—including those managing autism, behavioral challenges, and intensive safety requirements.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1+ years as a school-based paraprofessional, specializing in special education for students with severe autism and behavioral needs (PreK-12).
• Comfortable and skilled working 1:1 in structured behavioral settings, including implementing safety interventions for aggressive and self-injurious behaviors.
• Demonstrated experience supporting MDS, ADL, AS3, and behavior management.
• Resides within a 35-minute commute of highlighted PA regions.
• Available full-time, with schedule flexibility between 6:45 AM – 4:01 PM, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours/week).
• Capable of attending one mandatory full week of orientation prior to assignment start.
• Meets, or able to complete within 60 days, one Pennsylvania paraprofessional qualification requirement.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel among regional sites as needed.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, hands-on support for students’ physical, behavioral, and educational needs—including feeding, toileting, transfers, and intensive classroom participation.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement individualized behavior plans and safety interventions.
• Adapt to rapidly changing assignments and environments, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
