Overview Job Summary: Under general supervision, performs the full scope of duties associated with professional pharmacy practice. Is empowered to use judgment in the decision‑making process within their sphere of activity. For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors. Responsibilities Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy (BS or Doctor of Pharmacy) plus current license and registration to practice in New York State. PharmD or MS degree and/or completion of Pharmacy Residency Program may be used as a substitute for some experience. Requirements Minimum of three years' experience as a pharmacist in Hospital Pharmacy with accepted standards of practice, outpatient experience is preferred. Maintains professional competence through participation in continuing education programs and review of periodical literature.
