Childrens Medical Center, Inc. is a division of CareCloud Practice Management a subsidiary of CareCloud Inc./ppJob Summary:/ppThe receptionist position for Childrens Medical Center, Inc. is responsible for providing efficient office support, teamwork and outstanding customer service by receiving patients and visitors, determining their needs and directing them accordingly. Duties include but are not limited to answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying patient information, receiving payment and issuing receipts, pulling and prepping medical charts, faxing and filing. Must maintain compliance, patient privacy and environmental safety. Performs other clerical administrative tasks as assigned./ppEssential Duties and Responsibilities/pulliPerform the following functions on a rotational basis: check in, check out, schedule and runner./liliEnsure patient satisfaction by patients, families and visitors by greeting in a warm and welcoming way./liliEnsure registration form is complete and up to date, updating patient accounts when needed./liliPull and prep charts./liliDistribute all incoming faxes; pull charts to attach any reports, results or correspondence./liliAnswer phone calls./liliBalancing out at end of day./liliArrange servicing for front office equipment./liliArrange for the destruction of PHI./liliAssist other personnel in times of high volume./liliMaintain HIPAA compliance./liliWilling participant in a team environment./liliWork well independently./liliMaintain positive working relationships with co-workers./liliAttend staff meetings./liliArrive to work at scheduled time./liliMust rotate late night hours with other front office personnel./liliMust rotate Saturday hours with other front office personnel (8:00am-12:30pm)./li/ulpBack Office Duties:/ppBasic knowledge of medical terminology is preferred. Basic computer and keyboarding skills required, EHR experience preferred. Exceptional skills in customer service, organization, prioritization, attention to detail. Qualified candidates will have multitasking skills, a strong customer focus, a high degree of professionalism and team mindedness. This job requires extensive sitting, standing, bending, lifting, walking and typing./ppSupervisory Responsibilities: Does not supervise any other employees. Employee will report to the Practice Manager and or Physicians./ppEducation and Experience:/pulliHigh school diploma required./liliTwo to three years experience in a medical office or healthcare facility preferred./liliMust be customer-focused and possess strong oral communication and telephone skills./liliAbility to work well in a fast paced environment while maintaining quality of work./liliMust be willing to work an 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. position, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility. Saturday rotations a must./li/ulpEquipment Used:/pulliOffice equipment such as printer, copier, fax, etc./li/ulpInteraction:/ppIndividual may interact with patients, medical staff and the general public. May expect exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substance, and medicinal preparations.
