Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Telemetry unit with a strong focus on neurological patient populations
• Monitor and assess patient conditions throughout night shifts, responding appropriately to changes in status
• Accurately document patient care activities using electronic charting systems
• Participate in facility orientation, including completion of required online modules during the orientation period
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Telemetry or relevant service line
• Strong Neuro nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Must be located outside a 150-mile radius of the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Previous permanent staff at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year prior to returning as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Altera electronic charting system
• Prior travel nursing assignments in similar acute care settings
