Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients.
• Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans based on patient needs and health goals.
• Provide education on healthy eating, dietary modifications, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition care into overall patient management.
• Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed.
• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in nutrition and dietetics.
• Advocate for patients' nutritional needs and ensure they receive the best possible care.
• Participate in community outreach and educational programs related to nutrition and health.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program and completion of a dietetic internship program from an ADA/ACEND-approved Dietetic Education Program.
• Registration with the Commission on Dietetics Registration required.
• Licensure with the South Carolina Panel for Dietetic required.
• Strong knowledge of nutrition science, dietary guidelines, and therapeutic diets.
