OR Nurse (RN) - Jonesville, Michigan

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to support a high-volume surgical department. This role is ideal for professionals who excel in dynamic, fast-paced environments and are adept at working as part of an interdisciplinary perioperative team. Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in an OR (Operating Room) setting
• BLS certification required; additional ACLS or specialty OR certifications preferred
• Proficiency in circulating and/or scrubbing various surgical procedures
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to evolving clinical scenarios

Schedule:

• Specific shifts and scheduling details will be provided during the interview process.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and effective patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Prepare, assess, and maintain the sterile surgical environment
• Ensure all instruments and materials are accounted for and sterile field is maintained
• Provide timely and accurate documentation in patient medical records
• Respond rapidly to emergencies and adapt care as required
• Support patients and families through pre-and post-operative care instructions
