Field Service Representative

Daniels Health is looking for a Full time Field Service Representative to join our team and help support hospitals across Illinois with critical medical waste services. This is not a desk job —you’ll be on your feet, moving, lifting, and making a real impact every day. MUST be able to work in: Mclaren Oakland 50 Perry st Pontiac MI Karmanos Detroit 4100 John R St Detroit MI Full time hours working 40 hours a week Mon - Fri from 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm Sharps, Chemo, possibly controlled substance. Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation. Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas—this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients. Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day. Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized. Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team. Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service. Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic. Someone who’s physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and enjoys active, on-the-go work. A team player who can also work independently without direct supervision. Strong attention to detail—especially when it comes to paperwork and procedures. Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel throughout Illinois. A can-do attitude and previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role. COVID-19 vaccination required due to hospital access. Job stability– We’re an essential service in healthcare, recession-proof and always in demand. Consistent hours – Proposed schedule of M-F 7am-3pm. (Potential wiggle room on exact days and times to be worked out with hiring manager. Post job utilizing days/hours referenced here.)
