Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianWe are seeking skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and handling electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs on production and mechanical equipment, machinery, and components.ResponsibilitiesUse blueprints, schematics, small/power tools, and electronic test equipment to perform various maintenance tasks.Determine causes of operating problems in areas such as plumbing, electrical systems/components, HVAC, carpentry, electrical fixtures/switches/power sources, and mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic industrial equipment.Perform basic preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including motors, conveyors, pumps, paint equipment, material handling equipment, gearboxes, overhead cranes, and other mechanical components.Conduct electrical troubleshooting, wiring, and repairs on equipment ranging from single-phase 240v to three-phase 480v.Perform tack welding (stick or MIG) for minor repairs as needed.Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair PLCs, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), AMUs, CPUs, etc.Essential SkillsProficiency in electrical wiring and schematic reading.Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and troubleshooting.Capability to work with three-phase 480v and single-phase electrical systems.Competence in using blueprints and schematics.Expertise in welding, fabrication, and industrial equipment maintenance.Ability to troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, motors, and gearboxes.Additional Skills & Qualifications1+ years of industrial maintenance experience.Electrical and fabrication experience is a plus.Ability to read schematics and other prints to perform repairs.Why Work Here?Join a leading manufacturer of structural wind towers in North America, known for its commitment to excellence and premier customer value. The production environment may feature varying temperatures and loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant. Candidates should be comfortable working at heights as needed and may be required to work beyond normal hours, including weekends and holidays, based on equipment needs.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Newton, IA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $70000.00/yr.
