Job Description:

Travel ER RN position requiring at least 2+ years of ED RN experience and 1+ year of travel experience. The nurse must manage a wide range of patients from ESI level 1-5 and handle stroke, STEMI, trauma, and sepsis cases. Responsibilities include taking care of a 4-5:1 patient ratio (ESI level 3 average), triaging and assessing patients quickly, and performing all clinical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Handle patient triage, assessment, and care in the emergency department.
• Perform clinical skills, including PIV insertion, NG/OG tube placements, and wound care.
• Assist with art line, central line, and chest tube placements.
• Manage calls for psych patient placement during nights and weekends.
• Complete EMTALA paperwork per regulatory guidelines.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of ED RN experience and 1+ year of travel experience.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC.
• Triage, PIV, port access/deaccess, foley placement, NG/OG placement, wound care skills required.
