A brief summary
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and lead front-of-house (FOH) operations and ensure a seamless audience experience throughout for a global esports tournament. Your primary responsibility as the Event Manager, will be managing FOH activities at the venue.
This role includes both the advance planning and the on-site execution of the event, ensuring that all audience-facing operations are thoughtfully prepared in advance and delivered smoothly during live event days.
Reporting to the Global Service Delivery Manager will collaborate closely with the client’s key stakeholders and vendors, including Producers, Production teams, Publishing, and Senior Leadership, to plan, coordinate, and execute all FOH elements required to support a successful experience on the events assigned to you.
You will be assigned a core event(s) to actively deliver the FOH Event Manager role, while joining calls and supporting the preproduction ramp-up for upcoming events which can be later in a given year or in the following year.
You must be in a position to travel/be away from home for up to 4 weeks at a time. You must maintain a valid travel document or passport with at least 12 calendar months before expiry. Role has a high remote flex.
Potential for on-site onboarding with the team during a live event in Texas, circa October 20th through 31st, 2026. First assigned event scheduled and taking place in Korea circa February 10th through March 10th, 2027.
What you’ll be responsible for
Manage Front-of-House Operations - Oversee all FOH activities at the venue, ensuring smooth entry, seating, crowd flow, and overall audience experience throughout the event. Oversee audience-facing areas such as entrances, queues, seating sections, merchandise zones, fan activations, and accessibility services. Develop FOH operational plans, staffing schedules, run-of-show integration, and audience management procedures ahead of the event.
Audience Experience and Crowd Safety Management - Ensure fans have a positive, engaging, and safe experience by coordinating the integration of fan activations onsite. Implement crowd management plans, monitor audience flow, and coordinate with the client's security lead, venue security and safety teams to maintain a safe environment.

You will oversee the venue and FOH operations partner to ensure ushers, guest services, volunteers, and security teams are effectively managed and operating efficiently during live event days.
Ticketing - Oversee the Ticketing Manager to ensure deadlines are met, group allocations are fulfilled, and the ticketing platform aligns with overall ticketing strategy. This includes oversight of comp ticket distribution and allocation.

This may also include coordinating appropriate medical coverage, such as ensuring medical support is available for staff during the load-in period and that qualified medical personnel are on-site to support the audience during live event days.
Budget Management - Own and manage the budget for FOH operations, including forecasting, planning, and tracking expenses related to staffing, vendors, fan experiences, and audience services. Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure FOH operations are delivered within budget while maintaining a high-quality fan experience.
