Professional, assertive, friendly, capable of independent decision‑making. Technologically adept with POS, computer, iPad or handheld systems. Available at least 20 hours per week; flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Comfortable with ladders, regular movement, standing, bending, reaching, stretching and lifting up to 40 lbs. What You’ll Do Create a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences and lasting relationships. Support service enhancers and actively use Concierge. Achieve sales and service metrics: Clientelling/Outreach, Appointment Setting, Talbots Classic Awards, etc. Plan and prioritize tasks to meet customer and business needs. Understand customer needs with curiosity and confidence through intentional conversation. Educate customers on current products and fashion trends to inspire wardrobe decisions and build trust. Participate in community/store activities that promote the Talbots brand. Occasionally lead or supervise associates, open or close the store, and represent the brand image professionally.
