As a fast growing and well-respected private practice in Southwest Riverside County, the role of our physicians in our practice are to examine and treat patients, regardless of age or sex. Ensure proper injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Prescribe and administer medications, perform routine vaccinations, and provide advice regarding personal health and hygiene. Full-time is 40 hours per work week (36 patient facing hours in clinic; 4 admin hours non-clinic) Providers see approximately three patients per hour once fully trained and onboarded. EHR: EPIC – Riverside Area Required education and experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required. Board certification. Active and unrestricted California PA/NP medical license. Minimum Experience Required: Board certification/eligibility. License/Certification: Active and unrestricted California Medical license. (Required) Minimum Knowledge and Skills Required: Bilingual Spanish or other language preferred but not required. EMR: EPIC Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics. Excellent knowledge of infectious diseases, their symptoms and epidemiology. Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications. In-depth knowledge of legal and best medical guidelines and medicine best practices. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Respect for patient’s confidentiality. Compassionate and approachable. Responsible and trustworthy. Expected Hours of Work Full-time Advance Practice Provider (APP) in family practice (30-40 hours per work week). Providers see approximately three patients per hour. 4 or 5-day work week options. Schedule: typical schedule is four 10-hour days (9 hours patient facing; 1 hour lunch), and one 4-hour admin day (non-clinic; can be from home). Night call schedule is 2-3 times per year (one full week each time during non-clinic hours; no in-person responsibilities). Each year, a minimum of 3 metrics will determine how incentive compensation and bonuses are distributed across all RFMG providers.
