Travel Physical Therapist

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient therapy setting requiring at least 1 year of relevant experience and Epic EMR proficiency. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required Minimum 1 year of relevant Physical Therapy experience required IL PT license required if applicable BLS-AHA certification required Epic EMR charting experience required Experience with screening procedures and objective testing methods required Skilled in application of therapeutic modalities and taping techniques Responsibilities Outpatient therapy department setting Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm with variable hours 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week No weekend or holiday shifts required Treats patients of all ages with orthopedic and neurologic conditions Performs objective testing for range of motion, strength, and functional task performance Applies taping techniques for stabilization, facilitation, or inhibition of movement Utilizes therapeutic modalities including ultrasound, interferential, and iontophoresis Uses Epic for charting and daily documentation Evaluates and treats patients of all ages, adjusting plan of care as needed based on patient response Serves as a clinical resource and role model for staff and students Designs individualized plans of care integrating goals, treatment, and discharge planning Educates patients, families, and caregivers using effective teaching methods Communicates with referring providers on patient progress and treatment recommendations Monitors and provides feedback on care delivered by support personnel Radius rule of 50 miles applies; local candidates within this radius are not eligible RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract Previous Carle Health workers must complete a 6-month break in service after 1 year of continuous assignment before returning Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-764698 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler, LLC.
