Main OR Operating Room Surgical Tech Schedule: 12 hours shift D/E/N Rotating Shift Schedules. Can also accommodate 48Hrs/week
Complete Description:
Job Duties: The OR cares for a wide variety of patients. Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma (level 1 trauma center). There are 2 Davinci robots that are used by multi-services. The transplant program involves livers, kidneys, and hearts.
Job Requirements:
- NBSTSA Certification or experience as Surgical Technologist within a healthcare facility for a cumulative period of one year or more, occurring within the four years immediately prior to January 2015.
- Minimum Two (2) years of Experience
- Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma preferred
- Able to scrub
Certification(s):
NBSTSA Tech License (NY License ONLY) or 10 years of experience - Required
BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
Two (2) Years Experience - minimum - Required - 2 - Years
Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma - Highly desired
Able to scrub - Required
