RN - Operating Room

Responsible to the charge nurse or designated representative for performing assigned duties and responsibilities. All nurses are assigned to a specific service. This role is vital to ensuring quality patient care. Each service should be well organized and ensure specialty instrumentation and information are readily available and shared with other OR staff. Plans and provide nursing care that will be consistent with departmental policies and procedures and with current professional standards and practices. Maintains accurate nursing care plans, reports and clinical records. Provides patient and family teaching when appropriate. Qualifications: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required. Current license to practice in New York State. Previous acute care experience desirable. Must live within 30 minutes for on-call or make arrangements while on-call. ACLS certification is required upon hire or must be obtained within 12 months of hire. New graduates must obtain ACLS certification within 18 months of hire. Hourly rate: $39.86-$51.37 commensurate with experience Shift differentials: $7.00 per hour for evening shifts, $8.00 per hour for night shifts, and an additional $2.20 per hour for weekend shifts. $15,000-25,000 Sign-On Bonus;pro-rated for part-time #J-18808-Ljbffr Auburn Community Hospital
