PositionSummary: ThePayrollCoordinatorworkswiththePayrollManager,overseeingthepayrolloperationsforaworkforceofapproximately200employees.Thisroleisresponsibleforensuringaccurateandtimelypayrollprocessing,maintainingcompliancewithcompanypolicies,unionagreements,andcertifiedpayrollregulations,andsafeguardingtheintegrityofpayrollrecords.ThePayrollCoordinatorprocessesweeklypayroll,collaboratescloselywithprojectaccountantsandprojectmanagers,andhelpsresolvepayroll-relatedissuesefficiently.Theidealcandidatedemonstratesstrongtechnicalexpertise,exceptionalattentiontodetail,apositiveandcollaborativeattitude,andexcellentcommunicationskills. KeyResponsibilities: Completeweeklyfullcyclepayrollforthecompany,ensuringaccuracy,timelypaymentprocessingandcompliancewithfederal,state,unionandlocalregulations.Assistswithtimecardcorrections,dataentry,handleemployeeinquiries,andworkingwiththePayrollManager. CoordinatewithHumanResourcesandProjectManagersonnewhires,terminations,payratechanges,andjobclassifications. Maintainconfidentialityofallpayrollinformationanddocuments. AssisttheProjectAccountantteamwithprojectstartup’s,invoicingandsubcontractorcomplianceasneeded. Processcertifiedpayrollreportsforunionemployees,ensuringallrequirementsaremetanddocumentationissubmittedweekly. PrepareandsubmitalldocumentstoDIR/LCPT/Wrapworksandothercompliancesystems. Assistwithprocessingandreportingmonthlyunionreportstotheunionsandothersignatorycommittees. Collaboratewithunionrepresentativestoresolveanypayroll-relatedissues. Maintainaccuratepayrollrecordsandemployeeinformationinthepayrollsystem. Serveasapointofcontactforemployeesregardingpayrollinquiriesandissues,providingtimelyandeffectivecommunication. Supportauditsbyprovidingnecessarydocumentationandreports. Qualifications: Bachelor’sDegreeor4+yearsofequivalentexperiencepreferred. Experiencewithcertifiedpayroll,unionlaborandprevailingwagelawsrequired. Constructionindustryexperienceisaplus. Extensiveexperienceinpayroll,withknowledgeofunionreportingandfringe benefits. Abilitytomanagemultipleprioritiesandmeetdeadlinesinafast-pacedenvironment. ProficientinPayrollsoftware,MicrosoftOffice.Outlook,Word,Excel,SharePoint,OneDrive,andProcore. Excellentorganizationalskillsandattentiontodetail. Strongcommunicationandinterpersonalskills.
