Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg in a travel assignment within a high-volume inpatient medical-surgical setting in Montana, United States. Start date is 07/05/2026 for a 13-week engagement with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift type is 12-hour day shifts on a 12x3 rotation. Weekly pay ranges from $2,039 to $2,195. This assignment involves floating between medical and surgical/oncology areas and requires strong Med Surg proficiency.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult Med Surg patients, including monitoring, assessments, and timely documentation
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; manage IVs, drains, and lines as needed
- Monitor patient status, interpret changes, and escalate concerns to the care team promptly
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other team members to coordinate care
- Float between medical and surgical/oncology units as assigned; contribute to cross-unit coverage
- Document care in Epic EMR and ensure accurate, complete charting; assist with precepting new graduate RNs when available

Requirements
- 2 years Med Surg experience (float pool)
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- Ability to float between medical floor and surgical/oncology units as needed
- Epic EMR experience preferred
