Room AttendantSummary/Objective To perform a combination of tasks which maintains the hotel guest room in a clean and orderly manner, thereby contributing to a pleasant, positive experienceEssential FunctionsProvides professional and courteous service at all times.Clean rooms upon request.Handle and complete all guests' requests immediately.Disinfect the entire bathroom including toilet, ensure the entire bathroom is free of hair.Collects soiled linens for laundering, maintain linen supplies in appropriate locations.Vacuum, mop, sweep guest room floor and hallways.Maintain and keep a organized cart properly stocked and free of trash.Clean all stay over's, and checkout rooms in the allotted time for your property.Remove all trash and place in dumpster, stock cart for the next person, empty vacuum daily.Complete maintenance ticket for any items not working in the room or including safety concerns.Insure the safety of our guest's property assets; never open door for guest's who forgot their key (redirect them back to the front desk).CompetenciesCustomer/Client Focus.Stress Management/Composure.Thoroughness.Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities, and reports to housekeeping supervisor.Work Environment This job operates in a hotel environment. This role routinely uses standard equipment such as vacuum, mop, broom, chemical, and Ozone machine.Physical Demands the physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
