Step into a pivotal role supporting young learners as a Special Education Teacher covering a maternity leave at a welcoming elementary school. This full-time contract position begins at the end of August and concludes on December 22, 2026, offering the chance to make a significant impact during a crucial time in students’ lives.

Desired Qualifications:
- Current New Hampshire Special Education license (NH SPED license)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to complete fingerprinting requirements (please allow up to 3 weeks in NH)
- Adaptability and commitment to supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and social development
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Modify curriculum and adapt teaching strategies to promote student growth
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Collect and analyze data to guide instruction and provide regular progress reports
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and empowered
