This role requires a strong technical leader who is passionate about solving complex problems, improving engineering processes, and mentoring development teams within an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Design secure, reliable, and scalable software solutions for globally distributed systems. Identify, plan, and drive non-functional requirements and system enablers to ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability. Provide technical leadership and support development teams operating within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) . Promote a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement . Communicate technical architecture, design decisions, and platform direction to stakeholders and leadership. Research, evaluate, and implement modern technologies, tools, and frameworks to support business needs. Identify project dependencies early and proactively address risks to ensure smooth delivery. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and ensure effective knowledge sharing across teams. Identify bottlenecks impacting time-to-market and implement process improvements. Champion best engineering practices, development standards, and continuous improvement initiatives . Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology , or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong experience applying software engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices . Demonstrated experience designing and developing Java-based web services using both relational and non-relational databases. Proven ability to lead software testing initiatives across multiple technologies and teams. Strong knowledge of BDD/TDD practices, testing frameworks, and quality management tools . Experience implementing cross-browser and cross-device testing strategies . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills , with the ability to communicate complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to mentor junior engineers and guide team members toward engineering best practices. Technical Skills The ideal candidate should have strong experience in: Java development and architecture Spring Framework RESTful APIs and JSON Responsive web application development Cloud-native platforms (PCF, Azure, or similar) Kafka, Maven, and database design SQL and data modeling Development and monitoring tools such as Sonar, Dynatrace, Git, ALM, Jenkins (CI/CD), and Splunk Key Competencies Strong technical leadership and architectural thinking Ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent initiatives Self-driven, results-oriented, and proactive mindset Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies and frameworks Info Way Solutions
