Environmental Services Technician Shift II $24.00

Description
Ability to read, speak, understand, and follow written and verbal directions in English with a basic range of comprehension sufficient for understanding job specific forms, documents, signs, symbols and written instructions. Recognizes and comprehends emergency and urgent situations and is able to react and communicate so others understand. Basic computer skills to include the ability to utilize email program and complete computer-based training courses with minimal assistance. Previous hospital and/or hospitality housekeeping experience.


Preferred: High School graduate or GED.


The EVS Tech II performs high level time sensitive disinfectant cleaning tasks to maintain critical patient areas, (i.e., discharges, isolation rooms, terminal cleaning of operative invasive areas, emergency department), and includes a variety of specialty floor care, carpet care tasks and special projects, (i.e., stripping/refinishing floors, extracting/terminal disinfecting carpet and upholstery, special projects). High level time sensitive tasks assigned over 75% of daily shift time.
