Job Description Support attorneys throughout all stages of civil litigation, from initial case assessment through trial and post-trial matters. Conduct legal research and help evaluate facts, records, and potential case issues. Draft and edit discovery, correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents. Manage court deadlines, calendars, filings, service requirements, and case-related documentation. Maintain organized pleadings, discovery indexes, exhibits, evidence, briefs, and appendices. Coordinate information and communication among attorneys, clients, witnesses, experts, and other third parties. Take an active role in hearing and trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and case materials. Assist attorneys with settlement preparation and case resolution. Maintain accurate and well-organized electronic and physical case files. Qualifications 4+ years of paralegal experience. Completion of an approved paralegal program. Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience. Strong civil litigation, discovery, legal research, writing, calendaring, and court filing skills. Working knowledge of California litigation procedures and court requirements. Excellent organization, prioritization, written communication, and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines while remaining composed in a fast-paced litigation environment. Proficiency with legal technology, document management, and case management systems.
