GIS Specialist 2
On site REQUIRED. Must be available for hybrid (2 days a week) schedule. This position will support the DTMB geospatial enterprise as a member of the team responsible for configuration and operational support of enterprise GIS software and systems that leverage the environment. This position is a key technical resource expected to possess extensive experience and understanding of ESRI software, especially ArcGIS Enterprise and extensions, ArcGIS desktop, troubleshooting, publishing map services, as well as an understanding of geospatial data structure and management.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- Administration and management of ArcGIS Enterprise implementations for state agencies
- Installation and troubleshooting of ArcGIS Enterprise
- Implementing geodatabase changes and management of geodatabase versions
- Configuring and publishing of map services
- Facilitating meetings with state agency customers using the geospatial enterprise services
- Troubleshooting system issues and working with vendors, DTMB staff, and customers to resolve
Desired technical and software skills include, but are not limited to:
- ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise administration
- ESRI GeoEvent Server, Workflow Manager
- ESRI ArcGIS Pro
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Python or other scripting experience
- Experience with geodatabases and geodata management
- ArcGIS Online
