Job Title

Travel RN – Neuro ICU/SICU – Nights

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 36–48 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuro ICU/SICU setting, managing trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
• Deliver high-acuity nursing care consistent with Trauma Level One standards
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to unit dress code requirements, including navy blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in New York State
• Minimum 2 years of ICU staff experience specifically involving trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
• Trauma Level One facility experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Must be available to complete a competency test within 24 hours of submission
• Candidates from ineligible local counties are not being considered for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing complex, high-acuity neurological and surgical ICU patient populations
• Familiarity with float coverage across similar critical care units
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into a fast-paced trauma environment
