Trade Support Analyst

Overview

Operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, works to mitigate the significant financial and operational risks inherent in securities trading by serving as a key liaison among investment teams, brokers, custodian banks, clients, and internal business partners to ensure accurate trade execution, settlement, and lifecycle event management. Responsible for overseeing the firm's outsourced middle office service provider, monitoring service delivery, managing escalations, and driving timely resolution of operational issues. Partners closely with internal stakeholders and external clients to support account lifecycle events, new business initiatives, and regulatory requirements. Focuses on identifying and implementing automation opportunities, process enhancements, and operational efficiencies to strengthen controls, improve scalability, and enhance the overall client and business partner experience.

We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of outsourced middle office operations, monitoring service delivery, managing operational escalations, and coordinating timely resolution of issues.
• Serve as a primary liaison among investment teams, traders, clients, internal business partners, and the outsourced middle office provider.
• Partner with portfolio managers, traders, operations teams, technology teams, and external service providers to resolve complex post-trade processing, reconciliation, and settlement issues.
• Support client account lifecycle events, including account openings, closures, mandate changes, onboarding activities, and other operational requirements associated with new business initiatives.
• Ensure issues affecting successful settlement, client servicing, regulatory reporting, or operational risk are identified, escalated, and resolved in a timely manner.
• Identify opportunities to enhance operational processes through automation, workflow redesign, and technology-driven solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, risk mitigation, and service quality.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Customer service focus with experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs, and recommending solutions.
• Strong interest in developing knowledge of the asset management industry, financial markets, and investment operations.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
• Ability to learn and assimilate information from multiple people and sources
• Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 0- 2 years of institutional investment, securities settlement/investment operations experience, or securities trading experience.
• Working knowledge of buy-side equity securities settlement, financial instruments and markets.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to make quick and accurate decisions.
• Ability to interact effectively with peers and external parties in a fast-paced, high-risk environment and under extreme deadline pressure.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to identify process improvement opportunities, increase efficiency, and reduce operational risk.
• BA/BS or related work experience

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary bonus programs, or other annual or non-annual incentive or sales plans.)
