Sales Associate

We are looking for part‑time Sales Associates to deliver outstanding customer service, drive sales, and maintain a well‑stocked and organized store environment. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers promptly, ensuring multiple customers are handled efficiently. Assess customer needs by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, and providing recommendations. Engage in suggestive selling while staying informed on product availability. Promote store events, promotions, and special activities to enhance the shopping experience. Resolve customer concerns, offering alternative solutions and turning returns into exchanges when possible. Communicate merchandising and service needs to management in a timely manner. Collaborate with the team to achieve store and company objectives. Qualifications At least 16 years old. Available to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, overnight shifts, and occasional travel. Comfortable with or willing to learn technology such as cash registers, handheld, and mobile devices. Good communicator, able to engage customers courteously and professionally. Basic problem‑solving skills and ability to gather information to address customer issues. Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on‑the‑job training. Essential Job Functions Operate the cash register regularly. Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place it up to 5‑10 feet high, often using ladders. Stumble, bend, twist, and kneel frequently, including in the stock room and sales floor. Communicate with customers and coworkers both face‑to‑face and by telephone. Assist customers across the sales floor and retrieve/put away merchandise from/to the stock room. Work flexible hours to meet business needs, including overnight and travel as required. Adhere to standard operating procedures and read electronic or printed instructions. Maintain an upright position for at least 80% of the time. Benefits information is available on our careers site.
