Maintenance Mechanic - Industrial Laundry Tech

Full-Time & Part-Time Location: Northridge, CA Pay Range: $20+ per hour (DOE) M & F Laundry is hiring a hands‑on Maintenance Mechanic to support daily operations in our high‑volume commercial laundry facility. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, equipment cleaning, troubleshooting, and completing digital maintenance work orders accurately and on time. This is a working‑floor position. You will be expected to respond quickly, solve problems efficiently, and maintain equipment reliability. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on washers, dryers, ironers, folders, conveyors, and related equipment Clean and maintain machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic steam system issues Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime Complete and close digital work orders using a CMMS system Maintain accurate maintenance logs and inspection records Follow all OSHA and California safety standards Support facility upkeep including minor plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs Requirements 1–3+ years of industrial or commercial maintenance experience Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to use computers and mobile devices to complete digital work orders Ability to read basic technical manuals and diagrams Comfortable working in a fast‑paced production environment Ability to lift 40+ lbs and work on your feet Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Schedule Weekend and holiday availability as needed Overtime opportunities available What We Offer Paid Sick Leave in accordance with California law Paid training and onboarding support Supportive, team‑focused work environment Clear paths for growth and advancement within the company Stable, year‑round work M & F Laundry is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
