Registered Nurse Operating Room

$1958.40/week - Job Summary: Seeking a qualified Operating Room Registered Nurse for a seasonal travel assignment at a busy surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have recent OR experience and be able to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures. Prepare the operating room by ensuring all equipment and supplies are sterile and functional. Assist surgeons and other surgical team members with Procedures such as spine fusions, ALIFs, hip replacements, and joint procedures. Monitor patient vital signs, respond to emergencies, and document care accurately using Meditech EMR. Communicate effectively with staff and providers to coordinate patient care and ensure safety standards are met. Qualifications: Hold a valid RN license with minimum 1 year of recent hospital OR experience. Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications. Demonstrate experience in Spine and Joint procedures. Prefer candidates with Meditech EMR proficiency and joint scrub experience. Be flexible and possess strong communication and patient care skills.
