Job Responsibilities

• Formulate Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and craft individualized therapy approaches that help them achieve their functional ambitions
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methodologies to improve patients' motor skills, cognition, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work tandemly with occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Teach patients and their caregivers therapy strategies to facilitate ongoing progress outside the clinic
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution
• Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Required Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
