Job Description Job Description Director of Pediatric Neuroradiology Our Organization Department of Radiology, Medical School Associate/Professor, Non-Tenure (Full-Time) The Department of Radiology at our Medical School is in search of an exceptional academic pediatric neuroradiologist to take on the role of Director of Pediatric Neuroradiology . This position offers a unique chance to lead and enhance a nationally recognized pediatric neuroradiology service within one of the leading children's hospitals in the nation. Key Highlights: Flexible Hybrid Schedule $30,000 Signing Bonus The Director will be responsible for providing strategic, clinical, educational, and research leadership for the Pediatric Neuroradiology section within the Pediatric Radiology division. Leadership duties will encompass direct oversight of all clinical operations, mentorship for faculty and trainees, promoting quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, operational efficiency, and developing strategic plans to enhance national recognition. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including neurology, neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, and developmental pediatrics, will be essential. The Director is expected to optimize advanced imaging techniques such as functional MRI, diffusion imaging, fetal MRI, quantitative neuroimaging, and AI applications in neuroimaging. Academically, the Director should maintain a robust record of scholarly activities and publications, work with basic scientists in the Pediatric Imaging Research Center (PIRC) and the Department of Radiology, and collaborate with clinical partners at the Medical School to enhance the Pediatric Neuroradiology fellowship program. While grant funding experience is advantageous, it is not a requirement. The ideal candidate will significantly contribute to advancing clinical excellence, fostering innovation in neuroimaging, and supporting the academic mission of the department and institution. Qualifications: MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree Board certification in Radiology and completion of fellowship training or subspecialty certification (or eligibility) in Neuroradiology or Pediatric Radiology, with a focus on pediatric imaging Academic rank of Associate Professor or Professor (or eligibility for such appointment) Demonstrated leadership experience along with a proven track record in clinical excellence, scholarship, and teaching What Can We Offer You?
