Dental Insurance Biller – Pediatric Dental Private Practice
Location: Southern California
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4–5 hours/day after training period
Pay: $20 – $30/hour, based on experience

What You’ll Do:

• Submit, review, and follow up on dental insurance claims for two locations

• Manage billing for Denti-Cal and PPO contracted insurance plans

• Process eClaims, ERAs, and RTDs using DentalXChange clearinghouse

• Verify insurance benefits before treatment

• Trace and resolve unpaid, denied, or delayed claims

• Accurately post insurance payments and adjustments

• Communicate with insurance carriers regarding coverage, appeals, and claim status

• Collaborate with front office and clinical teams

• Assist in developing efficient billing processes in a new department

Preferred Experience:

• Orthodontic billing

• Medical anesthesia billing

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of dental insurance billing experience

• Working knowledge of Denti-Cal billing and regulations

• Experience with PPO plans

• Proficiency with DentalXChange or similar clearinghouses

• Familiarity with eClaims, ERAs, and RTDs

• Detail-oriented, organized, and independent

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
