Operating a Sit-down forklift to move goods between storage, production, and shipping areas. Load and unload inventory from trailers and containers.
Conduct pre-op inspections on equipment, report damages, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Secure, wrap, and stack pallets safely to ensure stability.


Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• 1 year of experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation.
• Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety

Job Duties

• Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials between storage, production, and shipping areas
• Load and unload inventory from trailers and containers
• Perform daily pre-operation inspections on forklifts and equipment
• Report equipment damage or safety concerns promptly
• Secure, wrap, stack, and organize pallets for safe storage and transportation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Assist with material handling and warehouse operations as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or shipping and receiving is preferred.
• Current forklift certification or experience operating multiple classes of powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, teamwork, reliability, and productivity are well positioned for success as a Forklift Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.

What You Will Do


As a Forklift Operator you will safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, stack, and organize materials throughout warehouse and manufacturing operations. You will inspect equipment before use, replenish inventory locations, support shipping and receiving activities, verify product movement, maintain inventory accuracy, and help ensure safe, efficient material handling throughout the facility.
