• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Schedule: Must be willing to work days, nights, and mids
• Shift Pattern: Flexible coverage based on unit needs
• Guaranteed Hours: 36-48 hours per week based on assignment needs
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, depending on unit staffing needs
• Call Requirement: None

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of recent cardiac, telemetry, or PCU experience required; 2+ years preferred
• Strong experience supporting cardiac patients and post-op cardiac procedures
• Experience with EPIC preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Must be able to complete all required clearances prior to start
• Rapid response availability preferred for candidates able to start within 7-10 days

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients
• Monitor and assess patients with chest pain, MI, open heart recovery, Watchman, TAVR, and post-op pacer needs
• Support patient care on a unit with a typical RN ratio of approximately 1:5
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the care team to promote positive patient outcomes
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as needed
• Maintain professionalism, adaptability, and a patient-first approach
• Follow unit protocols and contribute to a supportive, efficient workflow
