Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

Ascend Medical Staffing

Ascend Medical is seeking a NP or PA for a locum tenens opportunity in Downey, CA.
This a contract need and paid as a 1099. Malpractice is covered.
Urgent Care Center
Start ASAP 3 months with option to extend
Treat Patients 2 and above
3 patients per hour
EMR : Epic
Must be comfortable with flu, common cold, I & D, lacerations, suturing, fractures
Schedule is 4 X 10s weekly Friday to Monday 11a 9 :30 pm or Saturday- Monday 3 X 12s 9a- 9 :30 pm
Full support on staff (Physicians, RNs, other NPs and MAs)

Qualifications
CV
Copy of CA license
DEA
At least one year of experience in urgent care or emergency medicine
