Server

Piatti Mill Valley is looking for an experienced, hospitality-driven Server to join our front-of-house team. This position requires weekend and closing shift availability.

THE ROLE

As a Server, you will be a central part of the guest experience from the moment guests are seated to the moment they leave. You will work within our established service standards and menu knowledge expectations, delivering consistent, attentive, and knowledgeable hospitality throughout every shift. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing warm, professional, and knowledgeable table service in accordance with Piatti service standards
• Developing genuine familiarity with our food menu, house-made pastas, wine list, and cocktail program
• Guiding guests through the menu with thoughtful recommendations and suggestive selling
• Accurately taking and entering orders into the POS system and following through on every detail of each table's experience
• Coordinating with the kitchen and support staff to ensure timing, accuracy, and smooth table turns
• Handling payment, cash, and credit transactions accurately and in accordance with company procedures
• Supporting teammates during peak service and maintaining a collaborative floor environment
• Upholding responsible alcohol service standards throughout every shift

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Minimum 2 years of full-service restaurant experience in a quality-driven environment
• A genuine interest in food and wine
• POS proficiency and comfort with a busy, table-management-driven service flow
• A guest-first mindset with the ability to read a room, adjust your approach, and anticipate needs
• Composure and professionalism under pressure during high-volume dinner service
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Responsible Beverage Service certification preferred
