Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in Everett, WA at a skilled nursing facility. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while exploring a new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Washington Occupational Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification required from AHA or ARC.
• Experience or comfort working in skilled nursing / long-term care settings preferred.
• New graduates welcome. Clinical documentation skills and ability to develop individualized treatment plans required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a skilled nursing environment.
• Experience with patient and caregiver education for safe home and facility transitions.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 8-hour day shift.
• Guaranteed hours: 35 hours per week.
• Float Required: No.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide evaluations of functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans. Deliver hands-on therapy per physician orders and facility protocols. Document patient progress and maintain accurate treatment records. Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing, and other healthcare professionals. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on techniques to support continued care and safety. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
